Data Collection
Escape Velocity Calculator does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind.
Network Requests
Escape Velocity Calculator makes no network requests. Every figure in the app — every escape speed, every trajectory, every orbit and every rocket calculation — is computed on your device from data bundled with the app.
Each world’s page lists the published sources its figures come from. Tapping one of those links opens it in your browser, outside the app, and only when you choose to.
Permissions
The app asks for no permissions. It does not use your location, your contacts, your photos, your camera or your microphone.
Local Data Storage
The worlds you build, the setups you save, your chosen units and the mass you enter for your own weight are stored locally on your device using standard iOS mechanisms. They are not backed by any server and they are not shared with anyone.
Sharing and Export
Sharing a shot renders an image on your device, and sharing a world or a rocket calculation composes a line of text. Either is handed to the standard iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there is entirely your choice. Escape Velocity Calculator does not upload anything anywhere.
Analytics and Tracking
Escape Velocity Calculator does not include any analytics frameworks, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking of any kind. We do not know who you are, where you are, or how you use the app. That is by design.
Third-Party Services
Escape Velocity Calculator does not communicate with any third-party services. There are no embedded web views, no social media integrations, no advertising networks, and no data brokers.
Children’s Privacy
Escape Velocity Calculator does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Given that the app collects no data, changes are unlikely.
