Irish Airports does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind.
With your permission, Irish Airports uses your location while the app is open, to show your position on the map, to measure the distance and bearing to an airfield, and to verify a visit for your logbook. Verify Location takes a single reading of your position, checks it against the airfield, and discards it. Only the result and the date are kept. Your location is never stored, never sent anywhere, and never tracked in the background.
The airfield guide is bundled within the app. When you open an airfield that reports weather, the app requests its METAR and TAF from AviationWeather.gov, sending only the airfield's ICAO code. Map imagery is provided by Apple. No other network requests are made.
Your logbook is stored on your device alone. It leaves your device only if you choose to export it or share a card, and then only to the destination you pick.
Irish Airports does not include any analytics frameworks, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking of any kind.
Irish Airports uses Apple MapKit to display maps within the app. Apple's use of any data related to map rendering is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Weather reports come from AviationWeather.gov.
Irish Airports does not collect data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date.
