DATA COLLECTION
PhosphorWX does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind.
NETWORK REQUESTS
PhosphorWX connects to the AviationWeather.gov API (operated by NOAA's National Weather Service) to retrieve live METAR and TAF weather data. These requests are made directly from your device to the NOAA servers. No data passes through any intermediary server operated by us.
ANALYTICS AND TRACKING
PhosphorWX does not include any analytics frameworks, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking of any kind.
LOCAL STORAGE
PhosphorWX stores your preferences (such as favourite airports and colour theme) locally on your device using standard iOS application storage. This data never leaves your device.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The only external service PhosphorWX communicates with is AviationWeather.gov, operated by NOAA's National Weather Service. This is US government public domain data. Their use of any data is governed by their own policies.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
PhosphorWX does not collect data from anyone, including children.
