DATA COLLECTION
Q Codes Reference does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind.
NETWORK REQUESTS
Q Codes Reference makes no network requests. The entire vocabulary, every situation, and the band allocations for all three ITU regions ship inside the app. Nothing is fetched, and the app functions identically with the phone in airplane mode, in a field, or on a summit with no signal.
LOCATION
The app does not request or use your location. Your ITU region is seeded once from the device locale on first launch and can be changed by hand at any time in Settings. That is a region setting, not a position, and it never leaves the device.
MICROPHONE
The app does not request or use the microphone. It sends Morse; it does not listen.
LOCAL DATA STORAGE
Your trainer progress, the intervals the scheduler holds per item, and your preference settings are stored locally on your device using standard iOS mechanisms. Nothing is transmitted, and you can clear all of it at any time with RESET RESULTS in Settings.
ANALYTICS AND TRACKING
Q Codes Reference contains no analytics frameworks, no crash reporters, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not know who you are, where you are, or how you use the app. That is by design.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The app communicates with no third-party services. There are no embedded web views, no social media integrations, no advertising networks, and no data brokers. The only link out of the app opens the App Store.
ADVERTISING AND PURCHASES
Q Codes Reference is a paid download. There is no advertising, there are no subscriptions, and there are no in-app purchases.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Q Codes Reference collects no data from anyone, including children. The app contains no objectionable content and carries a 4+ age rating.
SAFETY NOTE
The band allocations in this app are shown for reference and are not an authority to transmit. Always operate to your own licence conditions and your national regulator's published terms.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Given that the app collects no data, changes are unlikely.
