Data Collection
Wiccan Moon does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind.
Location
Wiccan Moon requests location access solely to calculate sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and moonset times for your area. Your location data is used only for on-device astronomical calculations and is never transmitted to any server, third party, or external service. If you decline location access, the app functions fully — sunrise and sunset data will simply not be displayed.
Network Requests
Wiccan Moon does not make any network requests during normal operation. All moon phase calculations, zodiac positions, tradition data, correspondences, gardening guidance, and spell timing are computed locally on your device from bundled data. The app functions entirely offline.
Local Data Storage
Wiccan Moon stores your preference settings (selected tradition, notification preferences) locally on your device using standard iOS mechanisms. No personal information is stored. This data remains on your device and is never transmitted.
Analytics and Tracking
Wiccan Moon does not include any analytics frameworks, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking of any kind. We do not know who you are, where you are, or how you use the app. That is by design.
Third-Party Services
Wiccan Moon does not communicate with any third-party services. There are no embedded web views, no social media integrations, no advertising networks, and no data brokers.
Children’s Privacy
Wiccan Moon does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app contains no objectionable content and carries a 4+ age rating.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Given that the app collects no data, changes are unlikely.
