Data Collection
Wiccan Wheel does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind.
Network Requests
Wiccan Wheel does not make any network requests. Every festival instant, sunrise, sunset, day length and moon phase is computed locally on your device from bundled data and published astronomical algorithms. The app functions entirely offline.
Location
If you allow it, Wiccan Wheel reads your location on the device so that it can work out your solar times, your day length and which hemisphere you keep the wheel in. That location never leaves the device and is never transmitted anywhere. You can decline it and enter a latitude and longitude by hand instead, and the app works normally either way.
Local Data Storage
Your dating preference, hemisphere choice and notification settings are stored locally on your device using standard iOS mechanisms. They are shared with the app’s own widget through a private app group on the same device. Nothing derived from them ever leaves the device, and the widget recomputes every festival date for itself rather than reading one it was handed.
Notifications
If you enable festival reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. They involve no server and no personal data, and you can turn them off at any time in Settings.
Sharing
Sharing a festival hands a card to the standard iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there is entirely your choice. Wiccan Wheel does not upload it anywhere.
Analytics and Tracking
Wiccan Wheel does not include any analytics frameworks, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking of any kind. We do not know who you are, where you are, or how you use the app. That is by design.
Third-Party Services
Wiccan Wheel does not communicate with any third-party services. There are no embedded web views, no social media integrations, no advertising networks, and no data brokers.
Children’s Privacy
Wiccan Wheel does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app contains no objectionable content and carries a 4+ age rating.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date. Given that the app collects no data, changes are unlikely.
