DATA COLLECTION
PhosphorFlow does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app does not require an account, registration, or sign-in of any kind.
NETWORK REQUESTS
PhosphorFlow connects to the Office of Public Works' public data service at waterlevel.ie to retrieve water level readings and station data. These requests are made directly from your device to OPW servers. No data passes through any intermediary server operated by us.
LOCAL DATA STORAGE
PhosphorFlow caches water level data locally on your device to provide faster loading and reduce network usage. This data consists solely of publicly available OPW readings and contains no personal information. User preferences (colour theme, favourited stations) are stored locally using standard iOS mechanisms. This data never leaves your device.
NOTIFICATIONS
PhosphorFlow may send local push notifications to alert you when monitored stations enter flood warning or alert status. These notifications are generated entirely on-device based on locally cached data. No notification data is sent to or processed by any external server.
ANALYTICS AND TRACKING
PhosphorFlow does not include any analytics frameworks, crash reporters, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking of any kind.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The only external service PhosphorFlow communicates with is the Office of Public Works water level service, operated by OPW, an Irish state agency. Their use of any data is governed by their own policies. Map imagery in the station detail view is provided by Apple MapKit.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
PhosphorFlow does not collect data from anyone, including children.
