Folklore and superstition app for iPhone and iPad. More than 2,800 traditional beliefs, each read against a named historical source, offered for the day you are in and chosen by the date, the feast, the moon, an eclipse, a meteor shower's peak, the weekday or the month. Occasions finds the days tradition favours for marrying, travelling and planting, Sky matches weather lore to the moon and sky you see, and a Dictionary searches by thing, topic or source. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, an optional daily notification, no account and fully offline. Runs natively on iPad in every orientation, with an optional sidebar in place of the tab bar. Its astronomy comes from AstroEngine, the on-device engine shared across our sky apps and measured against NASA JPL Horizons.
