Planetary hours app for iPhone and iPad. The twelve hours of daylight and the twelve of darkness, each ruled by a classical planet in the Chaldean order, computed for your own place and date from a sunrise and sunset solved to the second and checked against the US Naval Observatory. A dial draws the twenty-four hours at their real lengths, a schedule shows any day at any saved place, and a planner searches up to a year ahead for the hour you want, with the Moon sign and void of course beside every result, saved elections and alerts. The uses of each hour are quoted word for word from the 1889 Key of Solomon, with Agrippa, Lilly and Chaucer cited on the metals and on where the hours are attested. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. Runs natively on iPad in every orientation, with an optional sidebar in place of the tab bar, and is ready for iPhone Duo, setting the dial beside the hour card across the inner display. One price, no subscription, no account, and the hours need no connection. Its astronomy comes from AstroEngine, the on-device engine shared across our sky apps and measured against NASA JPL Horizons.
